Christie J. Swaim, MS, CCC-SLP
Christie Swaim is originally from Tahlequah, but has been a part of the Bartlesville community since 1995. She attended Northeastern State University in Tahlequah and was awarded a bachelor’s degree in Speech/Language Pathology. She then earned a Master’s degree in Speech/Language Pathology from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Christie is board certified by the Oklahoma State Board of Examiners and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), of which she is also a member. She has been granted four awards for continuing education (ACE).
Christie has been treating communication disorders in adults and children for over 20 years. She also holds special certification for the treatment of swallowing disorders in adults.
Before entering college Christie was proud to serve in the US Army. In her free time she enjoys camping, traveling and spoiling her dog Sammy.
